Around 2011 = around 200
But has since dramatically increased…
April 2013 = 299
Researching ways to lower, local pharmacist recommended Niacin, but warned not to take the slow/sustained release since there were harmful additives. Trying to learn more, discovered the book “8 Week Cholesterol Cure” by Kowolski (also has a book on High Blood Pressure). There she learned about the brand Enduricin as a recommended slow/sustained release, and for immediate/fast release any brand would be ok.
Started at Week 1 with 100, adding an additional 100 each week until working her way up until 2,000 (20 weeks):
Total of 4 pills, each containing 500:
breakfast = 1x immediate + 1x slow
lunch = 1x immediate
dinner = 1x slow
October 2013 = 232
So after six months, she was able to lower her cholesterol, almost back to her previous limits.
